Cruise Control

Cobra Automotive Accessories will cover your Cruise Control for a period of Three (3) years on the product from the date of installation and lifetime warranty on installation. If any third party moves, damage or misuse any components or wiring this will void warranty.

Multimedia, satellite naviagtion, dvd, cameras, tracking devices, etc

Cobra Automotive Accessories guarantees the operation of your product for a period of three (3) Years and lifetime warranty on installations (excluding portable navigation products, headsets, remotes and batteries) from the date of installation.

In order to make a warranty claim on any product, the following criteria applies;

Cobra Automotive Accessories offers a twelve (12) month replacement warranty on all products. For this to apply, all items must be free of physical damage such as marks, scratches, broken components etc, and show no signs of misuse, third party connections or alterations.

For further warranty claims beyond twelve (12) months, all items must be free of physical damage such as marks, scratches, broken components etc, and show no signs of misuse, third party connections or alterations.

Items over twelve (12) months old or showing signs of mistreatment, will be returned to the manufacture for repair. The manufacturer may refuse the warranty claim on the basis of mistreatment in which case the cost of repair and freight will be the responsibility of the customer.

The transportation of the vehicle for any repair, warranty or service work remains the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Cobra Automotive Accessories apologizes for any inconvenience caused but in doing so, accepts no liability implied or otherwise, for costs or damages occurred.

Service Call Out

Cobra Automotive Accessories will warrant product failure and installation errors as per your warranty period. On-site warranty applies for the First Three (3) months after installation date (Melbourne Metro Only) after that the vehicle must be presented to our factory in Vermont. Any service call outs that are not related to product failure or installation error will be charged at $120.00 Inc GST plus parts and if required hourly rate of $120.00 Inc GST per hour or part thereof.

Exclusions

This warranty applies only to defects due to workmanship or materials in the manufacture or installation of any Cobra Automotive Accessories product components. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, modifications, alterations, unauthorized repairs, service, physical abuse to, or misuses of product, freight damage, careless handling, airborne fallout such as chemicals, tree sap, etc, acts of god such as wind storm, lightning, fluctuation in electrical power, normal wear and tear user-required maintenance or any other causes whatsoever. It does not cover transportation, loss of time, inconvenience or hire of an alternative vehicle. This warranty does not apply to any products purchased or serviced outside of Australia.
